What we’ve been up to!
Friends of Noise has teamed up with Youth Power PDX to produce the Ya Heard Open Mic series.
Each month we travel to a new location in the Portland Metro area and set the stage for some incredible all ages artist to experiment, explore and wow the crowd with their creativity and vulnerability. Our Open Mic centers the voices of BIPOC and LGTBQ+ teens and their allies.
Each Open Mic has a featured artist that not only shares their work as well but also helps to set the tone and bar for all the artist to rise to. It’s truly a magical night where almost anything can happen and it often does!
